The Constitution Obviously Outlines that Obama is a Socialist

In yesterday's Washington Post, opinion writer E.J. Dionne Jr. wrote a brilliant piece on why the Tea Party is misguided in its assertion that the Founding Fathers were not against taxes or "big government," but simply a government without consent of the governed.

Of course, "government without consent of the governed" may be too much for a Tea Bagger to swallow.

So I checked out the comments section of the article knowing full well that there would be some atrocious misguided attacks on "senseless liberals."

But one of them was actually bad enough that I had to respond. It was from 2012frank. I will use his real username because you could easily find it on the Post's website. Anyhow, it went like this.
One reading the commentary here could easily come to a determination that the November 2012 elections will be a decision between: Socialism v Capitalism.

Obama will spend over a billion dollars to convince Americans that Socialism is the better path for the USA. His re-election depends on Union thugs, the "Free Lunch" crowd, government employees and those he can get to feel guilty about having a job to support his agenda.

“Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery.” - Winston Churchill
This guy has a solid argument. As you can see, he is equating President Obama with socialism. His facts are also rock solid. He says that Obama is spending billions to preach socialism to Americans, brainwashing them at every turn. This is, of course, common knowledge. Everyone knows that, (1) Obama is a socialist, and, (2) Obama preaches socialism.

Frank shows off his political genius by ending with a sweet Churchill quote to finish off those pesky liberal socialists. He really took Dionne to task with that one. Churchill is of course the guy who also said, "It is a good thing for an uneducated man to read books of quotations." I can only imagine where Frank found his awesome quote.

But I shouldn't be so mean to 2012frank. It's obvious that such poor interpretations of socialism and Obama's presidential campaign could only be a joke! I mean, oh, that is rich 2012frank, I get it, you're being sarcastic! You really do know what socialism is! Wow! Oh and you know that socialism isn't what you were taught during the Cold War. No, you, Frank, know that socialism is not oppressive, totalitarian, dictatorial communism.

Even been to France Frank? Of course you have, after all, you're obviously well versed in many foreign cultures. I bet you spend a lot of time calling people "foreign." You know that France is considered by many a social democracy (one of the two largest parties in the country is the "Socialist Party"), as are many other western European countries. Which, as Frank knows, are our closest allies, whom we "protect freedom" with. But I don't have to tell Frank, no, he already knows that.

Frank has also been to Germany. His name, Frank, is of course of German decent, he knows all about Germany. He knows that Germany too is considered to be a social democracy. He knows that Germany has the largest European economy and the fourth largest in the world, just behind Japan and just ahead of France. Remember France, the social democracy to the south of Germany that was just discussed. I don't have to remind Frank though, because he remembers and knows all about it.

Frank knows all about socialism and Obama. And although his review of liberals is scathing. It really has nothing to do with the article. I'm not sure he even read it. Which makes his satirical response to it even more amusing.

If only Frank really was joking.
