President Obama has declared the healthcare bill he proposed open to four GOP ideas, according to The Washington Post, but will Republicans even vote for it if those ideas are eventually incorporated into the healthcare bill?
I can't really say I have too much faith in the GOP to vote for any bill that Democrats, especially President Obama, propose. According to the Associated Press, Republicans are on record pace for filibusters this Congressional session.
Whichever way a healthcare reform bill passes both houses of Congress, if the bill does incorporate Republican ideas, there is no reason for Republican members of the House and Senate not to vote for the bill.
